Yusupov palace – is one of the most famous and beautiful palaces of St. Petersburg. In Peter the Great times a wooden farmstead of his niece Praskovia Ioanovna was located this place. Later after 1770 this place passed to the possession of count Shuvalov and a palace was built for him on Moika embankment. In 1830 the palace was bought by prince Boris Nikolaevich Yusupov and became a favorite residence of this noble family. Five generations of prices Yusupov owned the palace which is one of a few palaces of St. Petersburg where the interior of the apartments was saved as well as a home theatre and luxurious suits of the Yusupovs. The palace keeps the warm and charm of its former owners. Artistic interiors of surprising beauty are opened for lovers of history, arts, music and theatre.

The brightest pages of Russian and St. Petersburg history is connected with Yusupov palace which was the center of a high life of St. Petersburg. Emperors visited the palace, famous musician and actors appeared on the stage of its theatre. Magnificent balls and masquerades often arranged in a princely house struck contemporaries with their luxury, refinement and scope.

Many considerable for history events took place in the palace, most known of them is a murder of Grigory Rasputin - Siberian peasant, considered "an old man", "divine man", who was a friend of a family of Emperor Nikolay II and had large influence at a court. The tragedy happened on the night on December, 17, 1916 in a private apartment of young Prince Felix Yusupov. Now these rooms are arranged as a historical and documental exhibition and excursions are conducted there.

COST OF EXCURSION. All the prices are quoted for foreign citizens in Roubles per person and for the excursion taking place in the museum working hours 11:00-17:00 (any day in the period from October till April the museum can be closed for day off). Prices and specifications are not valid in the period of ECONOMICAL FORUM in June and in official holidays. All information for this period is on request.

Payment
100% prepayment for the excursion should be made not later than 8 working days prior the date of the excursion. In case prepayment was not made in time, the order will be cancelled.

In case of the payment refund, all the fees charges by banks and payment systems will be deducted.

Terms of order
Excursion should be book not later then 10 working days prior the date you want the excursion be arranged. In case you request for excursion later then 10 working days prior the date of the excursion please, contact us. Excursion taking place in working hours of the museum. The cost of the excursion includes:
- Guide services including meeting at the museum entrance with a sign (agreed with the Customer).
- Entrance ticket for a book time to avoid standing in a long line.
- Extra to the museum excursion you can visit the exposition "Rasputin murdering".

Transportation to/from museum is not included into the excursion cost but can be book extra. Please, write us in "comments", if you need transportation while filling out the order form.

In case you are late for more than 5 minutes, entrance to the museum will be imposible.

The Customer meets the guide on the day and in time the excursion was booked at the museum entrance. In case the Customer is late for the excursion he/she should confirm the excursion to the guide or our manager by phone.
In case the Customer doesn’t come and cannot be reached within 10 minutes after the excursion should begin, the order will be cancelled and no refund will be paid.

If during the excursion the Customer wants to to book some extra excursions, it can be done in case the company has this possibility.

Number of tourists booking the excursion is specified while filling out the order form. The excursion is arranged only for booked and paid number of tourists.

The company is not responsible for any delays during the excursion appeared due to some force major circumstances (arrival of government delegations, weather conditions).

Cancellation and changes terms

Valid during the whole year
Cancellation, changing of number of tourists, date or time of order should be sent in written form on week days not later than 8(eight) working days prior the date/ time the service begins.
- In case of cancellation, date or time within 8-3 working days prior the date/ time the service begins, penalty - 50% of the total cost of the order. In case the number of tourists decrease within 8-3 working days prior the date/ time the service begins, penalty - 50% of the cost of the service for each cancelled person.
- In case of cancellation, date or time less than 3 working days prior the date/ time the service begins, penalty - 100% of the total cost of the order. In case the number of tourists decrease less than 3 working days prior the date/ time the service begins, penalty - 100% of the cost of the service for each cancelled person.

If according the Customer’s desire the duration of the excursion is decreased, the cost of the excursion cannot be changed and should be fully paid (100%).

Order is not a confirmed booking and you need not pay for it. When our manager gets your order form, checks the possibility to arrange your order, he/she will get in touch with you.
